The Wendell Gilley Museum will be closing early, at 2pm on Thursday, Aug. 6 

May 27, 2026 through October 31, 2026

Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10am-4pm plus programs and events on some other days and evenings.

Reservations are not required.

Parking is available in a small lot in front of the museum, and an overflow lot across the street that is marked with a large sign.

If both are full, street parking is available on Herrick Road, but only on the same side of the street as the museum. This is important, as parking along the other side of Herrick Road could result in a visit from police officers responding to reports of illegal parking.

Groups: We are happy to work with school and community groups to arrange programs or tours of the museum. Visits to the museum are currently subject to state rules and best practices for the prevention of the spread of Covid-19. 

Wheelchair Accessibility: The museum’s side entrance provides easy access for wheelchair users. All public facilities, including restrooms, are on the ground floor and are barrier-free.
